Break out your scarves and sweaters because it’s beginning to feel a lot like fall in Toronto. For those looking to explore the city this weekend, here’s what you can expect. After a stretch of summer-like weather in the city, temperatures will fall this weekend.

Friday will see a daytime high of 13 C and will drop to a freezing -1 C at night. Expect the day to be cloudy with 30 km/h winds moving west according to Environment Canada. Saturday will be sunnier but colder with a high of 8 C and a nighttime low of 3 C.

Get your weekend activities done early because Sunday has a 70 per cent chance of rain that is expected all day. The high is 12 C and a low at night of 10 C. There is no subway service between Kipling and Keele stations this weekend as the TTC works on the tracks.

Regular service will resume Monday but shuttle buses will run in the meantime. Starting Sunday, the TTC is improving 501 Queen streetcar service between Neville Park and South Etobicoke after new tracks were built. There will be shorter diversions around the Ontario Line construction at Queen and Yonge streets.

The streetcar will divert along Adelaide Street and west via Richmond Street, then connect to Queen Street at Church and York Streets. There will no longer be replacement buses for the service. Lakeshore East GO trains are being replaced by buses between the Union Station Bus Terminal and Pickering on Saturday and Sunday.

There is no GO Transit service at Eglinton, Danforth, Scarborough, Guildw.
