Tuesday, August 27, 2024 Toronto Pearson’s Fire and Emergency Services Training Institute (FESTI) has partnered with the Ontario Association of Emergency Managers (OAEM) to launch an innovative collaboration. This new alliance will leverage FESTI’s globally recognized training facilities and its Corporate Services and Leadership Training program alongside OAEM’s Continuing Professional Development (CPD) initiatives. The partnership aims to elevate emergency management training for Canadian public safety personnel by integrating advanced command systems and fostering a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.

The Fire and Emergency Services Training Institute (FESTI) is a distinctive private career college dedicated to offering top-tier training for fire and emergency service professionals throughout Canada. FESTI operates under the Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) and collaborates closely with Toronto Pearson International Airport’s fully operational fire and emergency services. Toronto Pearson International Airport, Canada’s largest airport, serves as a crucial hub for connecting people, businesses, and goods.

In 2023, the airport handled 45 million passengers traveling to 195 destinations worldwide, offering direct daily service to more than two-thirds of the global economies..
