Content about Tommy Fury expressing his love for Molly-Mae Hague just weeks ago has resurfaced following the news this week that they have now parted ways. Molly-Mae and Tommy, both 25, announced in separate statements on Wednesday that they have separated. The former couple - who met on Love Island in 2019 - both said that their daughter Bambi, one, remains their "priority".

The news comes following their fifth anniversary just last month. And more recently, they had celebrated the one year anniversary of their engagement , with both Molly-Mae and Tommy having marked the occasion on July 23. Molly-Mae shared: "One year ago today I was tricked into going on a fake brand trip on which the love of my life would ask me to marry him.

" Whilst Tommy said in his post at the time: "A year today since I asked the best question, I have ever asked in my life. Can't wait to spend forever with you." Tommy bought her a bouquet of roses and lillies for the anniversary.

With the gesture just weeks before the news of their break-up, it has now been suggested that it might have been a "last ditch attempt" to save the relationship. As reported by the Sun , Molly-Mae shared footage of her fiancé delivering the large bouquet to her shortly after their anniversary. She teased: "Proud of himself.

" And alongside a photo of the flowers, she wrote: "1 year as a fiancée." The outlet reports there's speculation that it could have been a moment of Tommy trying to "salvage their crumbling relationship.
