Tommy Fury has turned to his father for support as he deals with his shock split from fiancée Molly-Mae Hague. The 25-year-old boxer has been hammered by reports that he was unfaithful to his Love Island girlfriend - promoting the dramatic end of their relationship. The couple fell for each other on the fifth season of the ITV2 reality show in 2019 and Molly-Mae, 25, welcomed their daughter, Bambi, in January last year.

The former couple have been swamped with support from fans, however there are suggestions of divided loyalties within the Fury family. While Molly-Mae and Tommy made their names via Love Island, they also featured in the Netflix show At Home With The Fury's which focused on the ITV star's older brother Tyson Fury , 36, and his wife and children. During episodes of the show, it was suggested Tommy's dad, John, 59, was happy to mock his son's girlfriend.

Viewers saw John quip "It’s a boxer’s life, it’s a boxer’s wife", which prompted then-pregnant Molly to say she hoped to become a Mrs Fury "One day." John then joked: “If you’re not now, in the condition you’re in, you’re never gonna be, are ya?” which Molly laughed off. The Sun has now claimed that Tommy is leaning heavily on his father for support after news of the shock split.

A source claimed: "As family and friends rally around both to support them through this tough time, John has proven to be the biggest support for his son as he navigates the split." The publication went on to report .
