Tom Walker said he was impressed by Kate Middleton’s music prowess when they played together - and touched by the kind gesture she made to thank him for their duet. The BRIT Award winner, 32, says the Princess of Wales sent him a personal letter after they performed together on a special BBC Christmas performance in 2021. And he said it is definitely "one to show the grandkids" in future.

I didn't really know what was proper or improper to say to royalty, as I've not spent too much time with them. But we did have like little chats and stuff and she was a very, very lovely, normal. "What stood out was the grace and the elegance that she had going on.
You never know if these things are just because people are on telly. But in real life she was just a really kind, warm hearted, nice person. We talked about touring, what I'd been up to.
