Tom Grennan has reflected on an urgent wake-up call that came after his manager told him there would be “100 more of him”. “Then I had to flip my life around and say, I’ve got this chance, don’t do what you did with football and fuck it up. That’s what I did, and what I’m trying to do now.” Grennan shared details of a conversation with his managed John, adding: “People say you’ve done it, you’ve made it.

I haven’t made nothing. [John is] the guy who said, ‘There’s going to be 100 more of you, you’ve got one chance of this, like what are you doing?’ That shifted my mindset. I look up to him so much.
