Tom Brady's playing days are over, but the greatest quarterback of all time is set to benefit from the hard work of his football career once more. It's often said that blood, sweat and tears define the life of an athlete, and Brady is preparing to sell a jersey soaked in that blood as part of a new, expansive auction. The seven-time Super Bowl champion has partnered with Sotheby's for "The GOAT Collection: Watches and Treasures from Tom Brady.

" Among other items, the quarterback will be selling a jersey he wore in the 2000 Orange Bowl for Michigan , leading the Wolverines to a 35-34 victory over Alabama. “What’s amazing about a jersey is you wear it all season,” Brady said. “It has blood, sweat, tears and incredible memories embedded in the fabric.

” The jersey is expected to sell for between $150,000 and $250,000 at auction. Other items for sale include Super Bowl-worn shoulder pads from his time with the Buccaneers, a tracksuit from his starring role in a Dunkin' Donuts commercial, and other game-worn jerseys. “I’m signifying a step out of my playing career, and recognizing that others will cherish these items the way I value the ones in my collection,” he said about the auction.

“This is the only time this will happen, so hopefully people will take advantage of the opportunity to put something so meaningful of mine into their own collections.” Cameron Smith/Getty Images The most valuable item in the auction is a watch he wore at his roast in May, made cu.
