Hyderabad: As many as 66 top entrepreneurs from Hyderabad were honoured at the 10th edition of the Times Business Awards 2024 Hyderabad, held at a city hotel on Sunday. The event, organised and conceptualised by Optimal Media Solutions , a division of Times Internet Limited, Times of India Group, saw entrepreneurs from various sectors — real estate , retail, fashion and start-ups, among others — present and felicitated for their work over the years. "There may have been some hiccups after the new govt took over, but the real estate sector in Hyderabad is now on the right track.
Several major projects by top real estate companies are underway. It is booming and will reach new heights in the coming years," said D Sridhar Babu, IT Minister, who was the chief guest at the event. Presenting the awards to the winners from the real estate sector, Babu said Hyderabad always takes pride in its businessmen and entrepreneurs who are stakeholders in its economy.
"An event like this will encourage the businessmen and push them towards more progress and success," he added. Among those who walked away with awards at Sunday's event were Manepally Jewellers, which won the Most Popular Brand in Bridal Jewellery award, and Honer Homes, which won the Most Preferred Project of the Year award. Candeur Constructions received the award for Excellence in High Rise Projects and Kancheepuram Mangalagowri Silks received the award for Popular Traditional Sarees, among others.
