TikTok stars Matt and Abby Howard are speaking out to deny allegations that they left their kids alone in a cruise ship cabin. The married couple, who have 5.3 million followers on their joint TikTok account , shared photos and videos from their recent cruise with their sons Griffin , 2, and August , 13 months.

One Instagram Story showed that the couple set up baby monitors to keep an eye on their kids while they went out for dinner together. “So we ended up taking them for 5 nights, and it became apparent that they weren’t enjoying it and therefore we weren’t either,” Abby wrote in the since-deleted story. “So THEN we switched our dinner time to AFTER their bedtime and FaceTimed the monitors while we ate.

(Baby monitors don’t work on board unless you’re only like 10 feet away). And that worked out muchhhh better for everyone!:).” Fans posted criticism of Matt and Abby ‘s actions, noting that if the kids woke up while alone in the cabin, they could potentially leave the room or get on the balcony while unattended.

Others pointed out how cruise ships are so large that the parents might have been far away from the room if an emergency did happen. Well, Matt and Abby are now claiming that the kids were NOT unattended. The couple just broke their silence in a new TikTok video.
