A tiger collided with a car between Allagadda and Ahobilam on Wednesday while chasing a herd of monkeys. As it crossed the road, the tiger accidentally struck the vehicle before retreating into the forest. A five-member family from Tadipatri in Kadapa district, who had attended a wedding in Allagadda, was on their way to visit the Ahobilam Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple.
