A poignant Christmas event is set to take place in Staffordshire - and tickets have now gone on sale. The event at the National Memorial Arboretum - around 45 minutes from Stoke-on-Trent - will have a 1944 theme to commemorate the 80th anniversary of significant Second World War milestones. It will showcase an array of 'spectacular audio-visual installations and poignant tributes' along a mile-long trail outdoors.

Organisers are touting a 'kaleidoscope' of colours that will illuminate the arboretum's narratives. Visitors of all ages can expect to be enthralled by interactive features, immersive environments, and spaces for quiet contemplation. Early bird discounts are available for those booking in advance for this nocturnal extravaganza.
