There appears to be a rift between sister, sister. Or at least there might have been, at one point. According to Tia Mowry , her relationship with her twin, Tamera Mowry Housley , changed after her 2023 divorce from Cory Hardrict .
"Being alone has been the most challenging part of my divorce," Tia said on her new WE tv docuseries Tia Mowry: My Next Act , as seen in a first-look teaser released Sept. 20. "It's times like this when I feel and wish that my sister and I were still close and I could pick up the phone and call her.
" The 46-year-old continued, "But that's just not where we are right now." E! News has reached out to Tamera for comment on Tia's remarks but has not heard back. Tia, who rose to fame with her sister—her only one among her three siblings—while starring with her on the '90s comedy series Sister, Sister , has not commented further on the twins' present relationship.
However, the day the Tia Mowry: My Next Act teaser was released, she shared a throwback video of herself and Tamera on their previous docuseries Tia & Tamera , which aired on the Style network between 2011 and 2013. "Who remembers that time on Tia & Tamera when I got my sis to try my breast milk after Cree was born?!" Tia captioned her Instagram post, referring to her and Cory's 13-year-old son. "Yes, that actually happened!" The reality star—who shared an Instagram clip of Tamera raving about her breast milk in 2019 , months after she welcomed daughter Cairo , now 6, with her ex-husband�.
