A further three men have pleaded guilty after a football-related 'violent disorder' in the street last year. The mass brawl erupted between Bolton Wanderers and Wigan Athletic fans on August 19 last year after a match between the clubs that day. Multiple men have since pleaded guilty to being involved in the brawl and await sentencing.

On September 17, a further three hooligans appeared at Bolton Crown Court for their roles in the disorder. Stephen Ince, aged 40, of Marlbrook Drive, Bolton, Troy Taylor, aged 24, of Martin Avenue, Little Lever and Joshua Nicholson, aged 18, of Linfield Close, Bolton were the men in question, pleading guilty to the charge of violent disorder. Judge Martin Walsh ordered the men to not go within 800m of the Toughsheet Community Stadium or the DW Stadium, Wigan's ground, or set foot in Wigan or Bolton town centres on a Saturday or Sunday for four hours before any match or six hours after the conclusion of the mat.
