More than 1,000 attendees flocked to the premises for a day filled with fun and activities. The Classic Car and County Fayre event featured an impressive display of more than 100 vintage cars and motorbikes, new luxury vehicles from Ocean BMW and Hawkins Motors, and static engines. There was a variety of attractions on offer for all ages.

Visitors were invited to enjoy a range of stalls featuring collectables, crafts and preserves, and opportunities to win prizes via raffles or 'tombola'. A dog show was also part of the event (Image: Marie Curie) A Fun Dog Show, judged by Truro Town Crier Lionel Knight and his consort, Carol Knight, added to the day's entertainment. The event was organised by the Helston Fundraising Group and sponsored by Fal Valley Pets of Grampound.

The crowds were entertained by the Truro Male Voice Choir and The Roseland Community Choir. The Tea Shed, Doh Pizza, The Victorian Kitchen, The Hidden Horse, Cornish Expresso and Kelly’s Ice Cream, were on hand with food and drink. The grand total raised will support the Marie Curie Hospice at Home Service in Cornwall, which is a lifeline for many families.
