More and more wealthy Osage begin dying of mysterious illnesses or accidents.The novel focuses on an Osage girl, Nola Blanket, who witnesses her mother's murder ......[re: the title] Killers of the Flower Moon -- The Old Farmer's Almanac, which first began publishing names for full moons in the 1930s, recorded the one given by American tribes to the full moon in May ...because of flowers blooming across North America, signaling abundance and the coming of spring after a cold, hard winter. The title was originated in the poem "Wi'-gi-e" by Osage poet Elise Paschen, written from the perspective of Mollie Kyle [whom Lily Gladstone portrayed in the film]..
