Here’s a look at what is happening this week at the Johnson City Public Library. FOR CHILDREN Pokémon Trading Card Day will be held Saturday, Aug. 31, from 2-3 p.

m. in the library's Jones Meeting Center. Kids of all ages can bring Pokémon or other types of cards to trade.

No registration. FOR TEENS Teen Advisory Board (TAB) will meet Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

Anyone ages 18 and older can join the conversation group to practice Spanish language. All skill levels are welcome. The group meets in the library's Jones Meeting Center.

No registration. UPCOMING The library will host a series of free, family-friendly “front porch” concerts on Sundays in September. Regional musicians will play from 3-4 p.

m. on the library’s front steps. People are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy the live music.
