The new Mercedes-Benz electric G-Class has already been entrusted with some pretty precious cargo. The German luxury marque has just unveiled the custom version of the battery-powered G-Wagen that will be used to carry this year’s League of Legends trophy. The EV will ferry the “Summoner’s Cup” around Europe in the leadup to the finale of this season’s World Championship which will be hosted in London later this fall.
The one-off G-Class was designed by the automaker’s Manufakture customization team. The boxy SUV is finished in matte black and has the competition’s 2024 motto, “Make Them Believe,” splashed across its side in giant white lettering. Inside the vehicle, you’ll find the League of Legends logo embroidered into the seat headrests and a bespoke trunk module designed specifically for the Summoners Cup.
Rounding things out is branding identifying the EV as this season’s “Official Trophy Carrier” as well as the logo for Riot Games , the maker of League of Legends . Mercedes’ announcement features no technical details about the EV, but the electric G-Class is powered by a quad-motor powertrain that produces 579 hp and 859 ft lbs of torque.
