TV chef Clodagh McKenna was bowled over one gorgeous Welsh beach as she appeared live for a This Morning cookery segment. The star thoroughly enjoyed her time at Barry Island as she made picnic quiches, but viewers had her back, giving her one warning about mixing food and the seaside town's seafront. With Barry Island stretching out into the distance behind her Clodagh introduced her segment by saying: "Bore da from beautiful Barry Island beach in Wales! Alison and Dermot I can’t tell you how stunning it is here, the beachfront is just so beautiful, the people here in Wakes are so friendly.

" While making her quiches "for Wales" Clodagh had one eye on a pesky seagull who she told viewers was waiting behind the cameraman, wanting to get in on the action. Viewers took to X, formerly known as Twitter , to also warn Clodagh about the seagulls. One said: "The seagul [sic] just waiting to nick something #thismorning" and another added: "Did that seagull just scream seeeegullll #thismorning".
