The best all-inclusive resorts have something for everyone, and this adults-only property in Jamaica just added a private-island experience if you want to ditch the crowds. For those seeking extra privacy, the Caribbean -based Blue Diamond Resorts has launched a new offshore private-island retreat at the Hideaway at Royalton Blue Waters in Montego Bay. Part of the Autograph Collection, the oceanfront hotel opened its doors in November 2023, complete with 352 rooms, 11 bars, and a whopping 12 different restaurants.
Now the luxury retreat is inviting guests to enjoy an exclusive, intimate escape on a 111-square-foot secluded islet that only those who book the Diamond Club suite category can access. For those who opt for the Diamond Club add-on, you’ll be treated like a VIP from check-in, where you’ll be introduced to a personal butler and treated to a bottle of sparkling wine. Additional perks include nightly turndown service, access to a private swimming pool, priority reservations for restaurants, and a one-hour hydrotherapy session.
Of course, the main attraction is the private island —a sanctuary surrounded by some of the clearest turquoise waters. However, the only catch is that you can’t really stay on it for long but rather book it for the day for, say, a special celebration or romantic outing. The only “civilization” to speak of on the islet comes in the form of four beachside cabanas which can be reserved from 8:30 a.
