Election Day coverage was unsurprisingly extreme across networks on Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Donald Trump topped Kamala Harris in rather easy fashion. The 2024 presidential election was called just after midnight.
MSNBC, unsurprisingly, did not handle things very well. One prominent MSNBC host is taking heat for what viewers are calling a "gross" comment about the state of Florida. Joy Reid, 55, is a Brooklyn, New York native.
It's clear that she is no fan of the state of Florida. MSNBC. Tuesday night, Reid referred to the state of Florida as a right-wing fascist state.
It's safe to say that many are not happy with that. "Raise your hand if you want Joy Reid removed from the MSNBC panel for referring to people in Florida as right-wing fascist state," one fan wrote. "At some point the sponsors are going to have to give up on a lot of these shows especially if Trump wins and a major shift happens in the country.
The rhetoric from these shows the last 8 years is truly reprehensible," one fan added. "Americans are DONE with race baiting. We are judging the content of one's character, not the color of one's skin.
