Her husband, Neil Madden, is also familiar with the acting world. A drama teacher by profession, Neil has appeared in popular shows such as The Bill, Lewis, Holby City and Silent Witness. The couple met when Jo was just 25 and tied the knot in 2007 after five years of dating.
