The ITV hit competition is set to make a return to our TV screens in just a few days and it has been announced that there will be three new coaches joining Tom and co-star Will.i.am.

In a new twist, McFly band members Danny Jones and Tom Fletcher will be the UK’s first ever double chair. American sensation LeAnn Rimes, who is well known for 90s hit How Do I Live?, will also be making her debut. The new coaches will replace Olly and Anne-Marie, who will not be returning for the upcoming series.

Speaking about what viewers can expect, Tom, who shot to fame in the 1960s, admitted that the new judges have brought a “fresh energy” to the show. The 84-year-old Welsh musician said: “We have our new coaches, LeAnn, Danny and Tom, joining myself and Will. It has brought a fresh energy to the show.
