Jason 'Sundance' Head had a very narrow escape from what could have been a fatal gunshot wound . The winner of The Voice season 11 was discharged from the hospital one day after suffering a gunshot wound to his abdomen while at his ranch in Texas . His wife, Misty Head, detailed her husband’s recovery as she shared a photo of his bullet-pierced tank top following the accident.
Taking to Facebook , Misty began: “He was released late last night [and] we got home very early this morning. “it was a ruff [sic] 3 hr ride home for him as the meds were wearing off and bc he was moving he was bleeding badly through his dressings not to mention he was in just a hospital gown all his clothes were at the ranch.” Misty explained that they were able to safely return Sundance, 46, home and repack his dressings but admitted he was “not an easy patient.
” She said she wanted to post the picture of his blood-stained clothing to emphasize “how lucky he was," as she pointed out: “Any higher or lower would have been devastating." “I can’t express how grateful we are for all the messages, calls, and prayers. God is AWESOME.
” According to TMZ, the singer was airlifted by helicopter to a hospital in Tyler, Texas, on Friday. Misty said the musician was hunting on the ranch by himself when the freak accident occurred.
