A TV insider has claimed that a genuine tension emerged between the usually mild mannered 42-year-old pop star and fellow hitmaker Kate during filming.
Australian singer Kate, 42, made her debut on the singing contest last week alongside new coaches, LeAnn Rimes and Adam Lambert . 'Bringing in two Americans like Adam, and LeAnn, producers thought there would be a battle of the countries – USA vs Australia – but the tension is between Guy and Kate, who really wanted to outdo each other in their coaching,' the source told Now To Love .
