A central London restaurant within Selfridges department store, dubbed as one of the "most beautiful in the UK" by OpenTable, is currently doing a summer-themed menu – and it’s under £30. If you go to the second floor of Selfridges department store in busy Oxford Street, you’ll find the Brasserie of Light. With opulent gold touches and a crystal-encrusted statue of a horse by Damien Hirst, it’s no wonder why this restaurant was named by OpenTable as one of the UK’s “most beautiful” restaurants.

I recently visited with my friend to try out the new Splash into Summer menu, where you can get two courses for £29.

95 or three courses for £35.95, along with a menu of summer-themed cocktails too. To begin with we tried some of the cocktails, which were the Poolside Splash, a frozen cocktail made up of casamigos tequila and coconut puree, as well as the Gold Medal, which was made with vodka, briottet mandarin, mandarin juice, monin kiwi, lemon juice and yuzu juice, and ended up being my favourite of all the ones I tried with its citrus flavours.
