'The Sims' movie is officially in the works with Margot Robbie and husband Tom Ackerley set to produce the film. After teaming up on the blockbusters 'Barbie' and 'Saltburn' last year, the couple - who were recently reported to be working on a 'Monopoly' movie - have been confirmed to be producing the adaptation of the popular EA video game under their LuckyChap Entertainment banner. The video game giant has joined forces with Amazon MGM Studios on the flick, which is being helmed by Kate Herron - whose directing credits include 'Loki' and Sex Education' - and she will co-write with Briony Redman.
