They were promoting their 2023 album Hackney Diamonds, which was the first the band produced in 18 years.
With just 18 shows, The Rolling Stones were able to surpass one of Swift’s tour records. According to Pollstar’s annual Voice of Live review, the group made the most per night in the last 12 months. The rock band averaged a single-night revenue of $13,068,843.
Swift made about $12,000 less than the group on a normal night. They charged about $315 per ticket while Swift’s tickets were priced around $230. Nonetheless, Swift still shined with an ending revenue of $2 billion, an amount that was over double what Elton John , the previous recordholder, made during his five-year Farewell Yellow Brick Roa.
