The Rings Of Power is based on the fantasy series written by J.R.R.

Tolkien, explores the world built by Peter Jackson iconic trilogy of the same name. One of the most beloved characters in the series has been Hobbits. They not only led the LOTR but also the Hobbit series and became fan favourites.

However, when The Rings of Power was introduced in 2022, fans were disappointed that the story would not feature any Hobbit characters. Their history goes back to the Elder days. pic.

It follows Elves we have known from the LOTR series including Galadriel as well as Elrond, two of whom are powerful beings in the book series, but in the prequel, they are yet to earn the immense status.

The show also introduced a huge range of original characters including Harfoots. While fans wondered if they were something similar to Hobbits. the makers in season 1 made it clear that they are completely different kinds of people.

For one, they are nomadic travellers and were way smaller than Hobbits. But now halfway through season 2, new theories are merging connecting the two. We were just introduced to more kinds of halflings but also hints about how they could be connected to each other.

In the Third Age Hobbits like Frodo and Bilbo were seen enjoying a sim.
