The Repair Shop expert on 'risky repair' BBC's The Repair Shop left viewers in floods of tears once again as a grandfather and his stepson shared the story of their tragic loss. Stepping into the iconic barn, grandad Quentin and his stepson Tim Stockwell longed to restore an item that Tim's son Miles had bought for his grandfather. The charming decoration that was given to Quentin in 2014 was a precious garden bee ornament.

The garden bee was broken and due to its tin material the "elements had got to it". But while speaking to the Repair Shop experts, Quentin revealed Miles had lost a battle with osteosarcoma - an aggressive type of bone cancer. Miles sadly passed away aged 15, just months before the episode was filmed.

Explaining what Miles had gone through Quentin was clearly upset and broke down in tears. This is a breaking showbiz story and is being constantly updated. Please refresh the page regularly to get the latest news, pictures and videos.
