The Repair Shop viewers were brought to tears after witnessing what was hailed as ‘heartbreaking’ tragic story. During a recent episode of the beloved BBC hit series viewers were joined by Camilla Greenwood, who brought in a fire-damaged teddy bear that was given a new lease of life. The toy had immense sentimental value to Camilla as she explained to experts Amanda Middleditch and Julie Tatchell that it belonged to her late mum Linda, who died in a house fire.

Pulling out the toy from a brown bag, she said: “I brought in a very sad looking bear of my mum’s. He’s seen better days hasn’t he.” Amanda asked: “He certainly has.

Tell us about your bear.” Camilla revealed: “He was given to my mum when she was little and he was with her throughout her childhood.” She continued: “Then when I came along, he was always kept in my room and he has sort of both in my life.

” Speaking about her late mum, she went on to say: “It has always just been me and my mum since I was six months old and she was a very special woman.” Julie jumped in: “You said was.” Camila fought back tears as she explained: “My mum died last year.

There was a fire at her house that destroyed the house and my mum didn’t get out.” An emotional Julie said: “Oh Camila I’m so sorry.” Camila continued: “It’s remarkable that the bear survived.
