During Wednesday's episode (August 21), viewers were introduced to Lesley and her daughter Nicola, who presented a much-loved, but well-worn fluffy cat toy called Jess to the team. The toy had immense sentimental value, especially to Lesley's foster son Colin, who they began caring for in 2012.

Colin, now 12 years old, lives with Pierre Robin sequence - a rare congenital condition characterized by a smaller-than-normal lower jaw, difficulty in breathing, challenges in speaking or chewing, and reliance on PEG feeding. He also faces cardiac complications. Jess has been more than just a toy for Colin; it's been his companion through countless hospital visits and surgical procedures.

The cuddly cat stays by his side every night, providing comfort, although it visibly bears the signs of constant love and care, including loss of stuffing and various home repairs by Lesley. Yet, despite these efforts, Jess desperately needed the touch of experts, reports the Express . The transformation of Jess was so profound that it sparked an outpouring of emotion among the viewers.
