Tucked away on the border of the South Downs is a tiny Surrey village, which is very remote without a train station or any dual carriageways. While the village of Hambledon is very rural and feels isolated, it’s got some amazing tourist attractions and an unusual dark folklore. It is rumoured that within the village, there is buried treasure.

Hambledon has a lot to offer for a visit - including Surrey’s oldest houses still trapped in time, and a beautiful secret garden with connections to Hollywood. There are only about 400 households with just under 1,000 residents. Here's what makes Hambledon special.
