Bob passed away in his Los Angeles home on August 26, 2023, at 99 - precisely one year ago.

The legendary figure hosted The Price is Right from 1972 to 2007. At the end of his 35-year tenure, he'd broken the record for continuous performances on the same network TV show and hosted well into his 80s, still taping five shows a week. When Bob retired, he was replaced by its current host, Drew Carey.
