What a view! (Image: Getty) Nestled in East Scotland, just past Dundee you will find the charming port town of Crail. The picturesque area has been named Scotland's most photographed harbour, and its not hard to see why. The historic fishing village boasts quaint cottages galore, and has been described by Visit Scotland as "charming cobbled streets tumble down to the miniature harbour, which is sheltered by cliffs and surrounded by historic fishing cottages.

The small town is on the East Neuk of Fife coast, and 90 minutes by car from Edinburgh or 10 miles south of St Andrews, so if you find yourself on a trip to Scotland, its easy enough to get to.
