Dubai is known as the playground for the wealthy with glamorous designer shops, dazzling skyscrapers and amazing beaches to boot. In recent years it's grown in popularity, attracting younger visitors hoping to sample a taste of the high life. At seven hours’ flight away, this mid-haul destination is a bit of a trek to get to and holidays there can be expensive.
