Percy Jackson has returned to The Lord of the Rings franchise with a new animated movie, The War of the Rohirrim. The makers just released the first teaser trailer for the animated film and it has already created quite a stir online. Fans have been in awe of the short clip many calling it epic, similar to the original Lord Of The Rings films.

It is not just the picturisation but also the makers behind it who have majorly contributed to the hype behind the anticipated release. The teaser trailer has been introduced as "a groundbreaking journey back to Middle-earth". It also featured clips from Peter Jackson's movie trilogy LOTR including scenes in Dunharrow and Helm's Deep.

The animated film takes place 200 years before Frodo Baggins set out to destroy the One Ring, and explore the blood-soaked era of the mighty King of Rohan, Helm Hammerhand. The film is also set to explore the origins of the fortress at Helm's Deep which place a big role in the second film of LOTR: Two Towers. The story takes place during the early days of Third Age where men somewhat experience an uneasy peace.
