Netflix has premiered the trailer for the third season of its David E. Kelley-produced legal drama “The Lincoln Lawyer” with the new season set to hit the streamer on October 17th. The new season will be based on the fifth book in Michael Connelly’s novel series – this one titled “The Gods of Guilt”.
Unlike last year’s second season which was split into two parts of five episodes each, this one won’t be with all ten episodes to arrive on that premiere date. Manuel Garcia-Rulfo will return as iconoclastic idealist lawyer Mickey Haller who runs his law practice out of the back seat of his Lincoln, as he takes on cases big and small across Los Angeles. He co-stars with Becki Newton (Lorna), Jazz Raycole (Izzy), Angus Sampson (Cisco) and Yaya DaCosta (Andrea Freemann) who are all also confirmed to be returning.
Neve Campbell will not be back as a series regular. In “The Gods of Guilt” book, Mickey learns a recent murder victim was his own former client – a prostitute he thought he had ‘rescued’, only to find she was back in the life and he may have been the one who put her in danger..
