The Las Vegas band are fresh off their monumental UK ‘Rebel Diamonds’ tour , which finished with a record-breaking six-night residency at London’s O2 Arena on July 11. After pulling off a spectacular manoeuvre by pausing their London show to celebrate England’s semifinal victory at the Euros , The Killers have once again gone above and beyond to demonstrate their affinity for the UK.

Now, the band have posted their take on Oasis’ seminal album ‘(What’s the Story) Morning Glory?’. It depicts frontman Brandon Flowers standing in Berwick Street, with the now boarded-up Selectadisc record store to his left. In the caption, the band wrote: “IYKYK”.

The Killers previously covered ‘Wonderwall’ at Lollapalooza Chile in 2018, with the frontman admitting he became a “shit-talker” because of Oasis in an interview with Phoebe Bridgers in 2020. “I grew up idolising Oasis, and they wrote great songs, but they were also just big shit-talkers,” he said.
