The London Wetland Centre, located right next to Richmond Park, has just introduced a new low-cost entry. This comes as part of an initiative to make the centre more accessible, and allow people of all ages and incomes to enjoy it. The new ticket enables anyone who is in receipt of Universal Credit, Working Tax Credit, Child Tax Credit, Employment and Support Allowance Income Support, Jobseeker’s Allowance or Pension Credit to pre-book tickets online at a reduced price.

Adults can now pay £5 and children £3 - for reference, a standard adult ticket costs £16.54 and a standard junior one £10.72.

Kids under four can visit for free, but they must be accompanied by an adult with a booked ticket. Alexia Hollinshead, General Manager at London Wetland Centre , said: "London Wetland Centre exists to fulfil founder Peter Scott’s vision of connecting people with wetland nature and, as a charity, we are doing what we can do to support that by making entry as accessible as we can for everyone.
