The Drake we know can rap and make music, and even act a little — but apparently he can also fly-fish.

The Drake Magazine, a quarterly fly-fishing American magazine publication curated for ‘fly fishing enthusiasts,’ posted a photo on their Instagram account on Wednesday of their fall issue, which features Canadian rapper Drake on the cover. “For those who fish,” reads the front cover of the magazine in which Drake poses in an orange spotted jacket and beige cargo joggers — both from his brand NOCTA’s new fall collection, fans say — while he stands knee-deep in water with a fishing rod in hand. The artist has yet to post the cover on his social media accounts or say anything about his apparent new-found love for fishing, but reaction online to the cover shoot is already polarized.

Fans and non-fans alike both took to social media to express their opinion on the magazine cover with a fishing-gear clad Drake. Here’s what they’re saying: “Drake said no to The Super Bowl and yes to a fishing magazine,” said a user on X, referring to allegations that Drake turned down an opportunity to perform at the 2025 Superbowl Halftime Show in which rapper Kendrick Lamar is set as the headliner.
