The Cure have shared new song ‘A Fragile Thing’. The British legends are back, with plans for their first new album in 16 years. Out on November 1st, ‘Songs Of A Lost World’ has been years in the making, with lead single ‘Alone’ sparking raptures amongst the band’s colossal fanbase.

Now The Cure have confirmed the full tracklisting for the album, alongside a brand new single. The second track to emerge from ‘Songs Of A Lost World’, new single ‘A Fragile Thing’ carries a unique sense of grace – Robert Smith’s vocal is hugely impressive, but its the broader canvas, the way each part speaks to the next, while rings out most strongly. Robert Smith comments.

.. ‘A Fragile Thing’ is driven by the difficulties we face in choosing between mutually exclusive needs and how we deal with the futile regret that can follow these choices, however sure we are that the right choices have been made.

.. it can often be very hard to be the person that you really need to be.
