You can’t keep good bad guys down. The Bad Guys are back in badness as DreamWorks Animation dropped a new trailer today for The Bad Guys 2 , the next action-packed chapter of the acclaimed comedy smash about a crackerjack crew of animal outlaws. The now-reformed Bad Guys are now trying hard to be good, but they have found themselves forced into a high-stakes, globe-trotting heist, masterminded by a new team of criminals they never saw coming, The Bad Girls.
The upcoming sequel sees the return of Sam Rockwell as Mr. Wolf, Marc Maron as Mr. Snake, Craig Robinson as Mr.
Shark, Anthony Ramos as Mr. Piranha, and Awkwafina as Ms. Tarantula, aka Webs.
Also back are Zazie Beetz as Governor Diane Foxington, Richard Ayoade as Professor Marmalade, Alex Borstein as Commissioner Misty Luggins, and Lilly Singh as reporter Tiffany Fluffit. New to the cast are Danielle Brooks as the Bad Girls’ leader, Kitty Kat, a clever snow leopard, Maria Bakalova as Pigtail, a brilliant Bulgarian wild boar engineer, and Natasha Lyonne as Doom, a raven with a knack for deception. Pierre Perifel returns to direct the sequel, along with co-director JP Sans, who was head of character animation for the previous film.
It’s produced by Damon Ross. Music is composed by Daniel Pemberton. The Bad Guys 2 hits theaters on August 1, 2025.
