The celebrity conservationist, 20, appears to be taking charge of family matters by representing the Irwins at several events of late. The pair were seen laughing and smiling as they posed together on the red carpet at the star-studded event on Wednesday while Bindi remained in Queensland . During the trip, Robert also went for a walk with Prince William who then revealed his favourite African animal. In the video shared to social media, the son of the late Steve 'the Crocodile Hunter' Irwin asked the Prince of Wales what his 'favourite African animal' was.
William replied: 'Oh, it's a tough question, it's a really tough question. My children ask me this regularly. I think I'm going to have to say the cheetah.
Fantastic animal.' Irwin then said his favourite was the chameleon. Robert also attended the Logie Awards in August after being nominated for a Gold Logie following hi.
