What does it mean to thrive? That was the underlying question that tethered Vogue Singapore’s second edition of Vogue Man for July/August . The concluding sentiments came naturally; it didn’t involve winning or being the strongest in the room, but rather being the very best for yourself. On the cover, Oscar-winning actor, producer and musician Riz Ahmed delved deeper into his upcoming roles in Hamlet and The Phoenician Scheme as well as his honest purview on the subject of representation.

Senior model and cancer survivor Arun Rosiah opened up about challenging stigmas and overcoming life’s adversities while on the wellness front, Deepak Chopra shed light on the beauty of just being. Culminating the issue, was one special evening where we celebrated Vogue Man at HighHouse, in the good company of dear friends and esteemed guests. By the bar, good vibes and cocktails (courtesy of Don Julio) were free-flowing.

Our guests were mingling and grooving to the pulsating beats with DJ Aldrin at the helm on the floor. Wines from Penfolds made good for plenty of clink-snap moments. On that note, photographs were endlessly captured throughout the night, thanks to Fujifilm who brandished our crowd with a few roving Instax cameras.

The highlight of the evening however? When Vogue Singapore’s editor-in-chief Desmond Lim and fashion features editor Maya Menon announced the party’s best-dressed attendees—Erwin Hastings, Sabrina Marican and Zachary Ho—where the three lucky winners .
