Conwy in North Wales (Image: Getty) One of Britain’s best-preserved medieval towns has been named one of the best places to live in the UK. The Sunday Times revealed its Best Places to Live 2024 guide which features 72 locations across the UK earlier this year and on that list was Conwy in North Wales. Labelled as a “one-off”, the town’s medieval walls are one of the most intact in Britain forming a defensive structure around Conwy.
