The beautiful little country has seen a remarkable increase in UK tourists , with numbers rising by 20% in February 2024 compared to the same month in 2023.
The first quarter of 2024 also shows a 14.7% rise in UK visitors compared to the previous year. On a global scale, the island's tourism has bounced back stronger than pre-pandemic levels.
February 2024 witnessed a 15.8% increase in arrivals, totaling 54,732 visitors, surpassing the figures of February 2020. Jane West, Tourism Fiji's regional director for the UK and Europe , expressed her delight at these numbers.
