Tuesday, August 27, 2024 The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has launched the third edition of its “The One for Nature” campaign, under the theme “Leave No Trace Behind,” at an eco-fair held at SOOKSIAM on the ground floor of ICONSIAM in Bangkok. This campaign encourages travelers to explore Thailand in a responsible manner, contributing to the nation’s long-term sustainability goals in the tourism sector. TAT’s Deputy Governor for Marketing Communications, Nithee Seeprae, emphasized that the campaign showcases TAT’s commitment to positioning Thailand as a leader in sustainable, experience-based tourism.

The campaign is designed to create unforgettable experiences for visitors while supporting global conservation efforts and addressing the increasing demand for eco-friendly travel options, ensuring the long-term viability of Thailand’s tourism industry. To enhance awareness of Thailand’s sustainable tourism path, travelers are invited to participate in an online contest for a chance to win a three-day/two-night sustainable tour package in Thailand. Prizes include three packages: one in Khao Lak, Phang-nga, and two in Phuket, with each package offering round-trip flight tickets for two, accommodation, meals, and activities.

The campaign kicked off with a two-day event at SOOKSIAM on August 17-18, featuring interactive booths and workshops on recycling and transforming waste into valuable items. The campaign will continue across key tourist destinations, i.
