Thursday, July 18, 2024 The Thailand Travel Mart Plus (TTM+) 2024, held from June 5-7 in Khao Lak, Phang-Nga, has made a notable impact on the Thai economy. Based on survey responses from attendees, including buyers and sellers, the event is estimated to generate an impressive 4,428.98 million Baht.

Marking its 21st edition, TTM+ 2024 embraced the theme “Amazing Thailand: Your Stories Never End.” This year’s event highlighted Thailand’s dedication to promoting high-value and sustainable tourism. It also aligned with the government’s “Ignite Thailand’s Tourism” vision, focusing on enhancing the country’s tourism sector through unique and environmentally conscious travel experiences.

Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, TAT Governor, said “Survey response from TTM+ 2024 buyers and sellers showed results that exceeded nearly all the targets set. The performance underscores the confidence in Thailand as a preferred tourist destination.

” The Thailand Travel Mart Plus (TTM+) 2024 saw an impressive turnout, with 418 buyers from 50 countries and 430 sellers from Thailand, surpassing the initial target of 150 participants each. The event also attracted over 100 media representatives, both Thai and international. During the event, a remarkable 14,792 business appointments were conducted between buyers and sellers, significantly exceeding the target of 3,500.

Survey responses from 57% of sellers indicated that they conducted a total of 12,729 appointments, averaging 29.6 per.
