Tesla has announced it’s started to remove complimentary Spotify subscriptions from its own monthly subscription service in a number of major markets, including Australia. Model Ys and Model 3s delivered from October 1, 2024 no longer include a Spotify Premium account as part of Tesla’s $9.99 per month Premium Connectivity subscription.

However, there’s an exception for Tesla vehicles delivered on or before June 30, 2019, which received a lifetime Premium Connectivity service that’ll continue to include the complimentary Spotify Premium account – at least until the vehicle’s hardware can no longer support it.
