Canadian fans can now get their orders in to buy a Cybertruck, after the company emailed reservation holders to launch sales of the futuristic truck. The limited-edition Foundation Series Cybertruck is now available for purchase in Canada, according to . Sales are also available in Mexico.

But days after those on the wait list got the email, Tesla announced it is no longer offering a cheaper $60,990 (U.S.) rear-wheel drive Cybertruck on its website.

Instead, the price listed now is $99,000. Deliveries of the Cybertruck began in the U.S.

last November, and this is the first time Cybertruck sales have expanded outside the U.S. The Canadian price tag for the dual motor all-wheel drive is apparently $137,990.

There are still taxes and fees on top of that, bringing the total closer to $140,716 in Ontario. Those who want to buy the CyberBeast tri-motor will have to fork out more than $166,000. One bonus for Canadian buyers is that Tesla successfully appealed the federal luxury tax, and was able to get that dropped from the total price.

The and is applicable on vehicles priced above $100,000. However, some electric vehicles are exempt. This saves Canadian customers $8,173 on the Cybertruck and $13,773 on the Cyberbeast.
